Ramsey agrees new deal at Arsenal.

Arsenal forward Aaron Ramsey has signed a new contract. The 18 year old who was signed from Cardiff last season for £5m made 22 appearances for Arsenal.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said:

"He made a very good contribution and he showed that he is a very intelligent player with great quality. He is still only 18 and we're really looking forward to seeing him develop with us in the forthcoming years."Ramsey made his full international debut for Wales against the Danes last November and has gone to play 5 more times for his country.
Meanwhile Arsenal have released Portugal U21 midfielder Amaury Bischoff after only a year, having been bought from Werder Bremenafter. He made just 4 appearances for Arsenal's first-team, all as subs and is one of eight players that manager Wenger has decided to let go. Wenger admitted that it was a gamble to buy Bischoff because he was coming back from a long term groin injury. Rui Fonte, who was on loan at Crystal Palace, has also been told to go when his contract is up.

Wenger has, however, given professional contracts to four of the Arsenal side that won the FA Youth Cup last season. Defenders Luke Ayling (17), Craig Eastmond (18), Cedric Evina (17) and 18-year-old keeper James Shea have all been signed on by the Gunners following an impressive campaign which also saw the youngsters win the FA Premier Academy League under the guidance of former defender Steve Bould.
