"if it moves, kick it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does"

Walter Smith : We will sell any player.

Glasgow Rangers manager Walter Smith has confirmed that he will listen to any offers for any players that are on the books.
Ibrox officials said back in January that they would sell key players to balance the books, but at the time no star players left.
Rangers fans were hoping that they would keep their star players because they won the Scottish Premier League and gained automatic qualification into the Champions League for next season,

But manager Smith said 'What happened in January is still there. Every player is susceptible to a bid.
'We told them circumstances meant we had to sell a player and we're still in that situation.
'I know there's a feelgood factor after winning the double but this doesn't go away.
'Yes, it's far less of a problem than in January. But the problem most teams out of the big leagues have is still at Rangers' door.'

Smith also said that their will be no big summer signings for the new season.

I think it's about time Walter took the reins with both hands, he's proven with Rangers previously and with Everton that he's a great manager, and that he has what it takes to get the best out of his players. Let Walter take the wheel, and watch him steer Rangers to another title.
