Montenegrin youngster on his way to the Gunners

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Montenegrin starlet Veljko Batrovic.

Batrovic, 15, is being eyed by the Gunners, Real Madrid, Marseille and Olympiakos. Arsenal boss Wenger and chief scout Rowley travelled to Montenegro back in March to watch Batrovic and the pair were so impressed that they offered him a week's trial at the Emirates. Batrovic will train with Arsenal next week and FK Bubamara chairman Miranovic said that the player is almost certain to sign for Arsenal.

Miranovic said "Nothing is yet finished but Veljko will go to a club with the strongest agreement, not only for Bubamara, but for Montenegro football in general.
"The details we'll talk about when the time comes."

I hope Wenger has seen the light and if he is to stay at Arsenal for another 5 years hopefully we'll see this player play in the first team for the Gunners in the near future, and not sold off like Campbell was from Man UTD after coming up through the youth ranks.
One can only hope.
