Jihai heads back to China.

Chinese footballer Sun Jihai has left Sheffield United to return home to China after a difficult time settling in. He started his career in England with Crystal Palace, went back to China to play for Dalian Shide, but came back to England to play for Premier League side Manchester City.

The 31 year old joined Sheffield last summer but made just 11 starts in a 12 month period. Blades manager Kevin Blackwell told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"Sun found it difficult to settle here. He was living with his mother and missed his family. He was a great professional and was a great example to the young players at the club. I wish him all the best."
