Aguero a Chelsea target.....who isn't?
Saturday, August 15, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chealsea are planning a 42 million pound bid for Athletico Madrid's star Sergio Aguero because owner Roman Abramovich wants to have a major name in the list of players signed by Chelsea this season.Madrid will play in a Champions League qualifier against Panathinaikos this Wednesday, and it looks like the Spaniards will tell Chelsea that they either have to match the 50 million pound asking price or forget about the whole deal.
Chelsea's offer for the 21 year old Argentine would surpass Man City's 32.5 million pound signing of Robinho which is still a British record.
Ancelotti said: "The market finishes on August 31 and if there is some possibility to improve the squad we can do it."
I guess Ancelotti's a happy camper now that he's in a club where finances are not a worry, not like Milan where he had to sell a player to buy a player.
Seriously, where would they play him. Is Ancelotti going to sell 2/3 players to accommodate his new boys, or is it the case of past seasons where it's all buy buy buy and then players complain about not being in the starting lineup.
If that's the case (again) it will be his downfall eventually. I don't think Chelsea will win anything this season (Community Shield doesn't count in my books)
No walk on the Bridge for Pirlo
Thursday, August 06, 2009 ~ Jay C.
AC Milan have proven that they're not playing around when it comes to Pirlo. Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has told Chelsea that the star midfielder will finish his career at the San Siro. Although Pirlo, 30, is only under contract until 2012, so i really don't think he'll be finishing Milan, but anyway.....Owner Berlusconi had talks with manager Leonardo and VP Galliani to decide on Pirlo's future.
He said: "Andrea Pirlo has been taken off the market. He will stay with us and finish his career at Milan.
"You know that Andrea Pirlo was wanted by Chelsea with a suitable economic offer.
"We also talked with the player and we decided to accept Leonardo's request to keep Pirlo."
Even with Pirlo staying Milan will not win the Serie A title this year. Ronaldinho, Pato, Pirlo, Gattuso and co will not be good enough to lift the Seriea title next may.
Pirlo stays at Milan
Monday, August 03, 2009 ~ Jay C.
AC Milan have rejected a seven million pound bid from Chelsea for Andrea Pirlo. Basically Milan's vice president Galliani told former Milan manager (now Chelsea manager) Ancelotti to take a hike because the offer was too low for Galliani's liking.Galliani said'The offer of seven million pounds plus Claudio Pizarro is not satisfactory...under these conditions Pirlo is not for sale,'Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.
So what Galliani's really saying is........give us another 56 million and he's yours. And they still won't win Lo Scudetto.
Terry: I'm staying at Chelsea
Monday, July 27, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Ok, the saga goes on.....John Terry has pledged his future to Chelsea..for now.It was reported on Thursday that Terry still wanted to talk to Man City about a possible move to Eastlands. But now Terry wants to stay at Chelsea......WATCH OUT!!....THERE GOES MORE MONEY FLYING FROM ABRAMOVICH'S WALLET!
Even when Terry was unsure of his role and his future at Chelsea, Abramovich AND Ancelotti insisted that Terry wasn't for sale. But Terry insists that there's no way he's joining City, and there was never any possibility. If you say so John.
I guess only time will tell if Terry means it this time. Who does he really play for?....the Blues or the Greens??
Terry silent over comittment
Sunday, July 26, 2009 ~ Jay C.
John Terry is silent over where he wants to be next season, and it's driving Abramovich crazy! The Blues captain would still like to talk to Man City boss Mark Hughes, but Chelsea owner Abramovich has shot down those requests every time.
The Chelsea faithful were hoping that their star boy would stay at Stamford Bridge, but it may not turn out that way.
Man City have already had offers turned down for Terry, but they won't give up just yet.
Man City manager Mark Hughes said: "John Terry is a player not at the club, who I keep having to answer questions about.
"We made a bid for a player that was rejected and that's where we stand at this moment. I said at the beginning of the window that ideally we would like to have all our signings in place for the start of the season.
"But if the right player is available and it takes until the end of the window to do the deal then so be it.
"You have to give each transfer deal the time it deserves. If you feel the process is not going to progress then you walk away."
Chelsea are still adamant that Terry will be in their colours come the start of the season.
I think he'll be wearing the City strip. Money talks.
Ashely Cole: You're Gunn-er get nowhere Arsenal
Friday, July 24, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Ashley Cole is backing Man City to break into the top four, and push Arsenal out of the Premier League elite. The former Arsenal player won the league title twice with Arsene Wenger, but now is ready to win it with Chelsea. He states that winning the Premier League is top priority, but thinks Mark Hughes' City will be in the top four come the end of the season.
Ashley has opened his mouth yet again about the club that made him the 'star' that he thinks he is.
I'm going to predict the Premier League's top five teams come next may.
1. Manchester United
2. Chelsea
3. Arsenal
4. Manchester City
5. Liverpool
That's all i'm going to say. Think i'm wrong? Tell me.
No Kaka, but I have Lampard!
Thursday, July 23, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea boss Ancelotti has stated that Frank Lampard can be Chelsea's Kaka. No one says that shit anymore Carlo. That sounds like you're at school on the yard and you're picking your team mates from a line up..."ok Billy, you can be my Kaka and I'll be Ronaldinho, and Johnny can be Beckham"I wonder how Lamps thinks about that statement? The 'kind' words come as Ancelotti has been impressed with Lampard in training. He said:
"Kaka has different qualities to Lampard but Lampard works very well for the team. Lampard can play all the positions in midfield, he scores goals and moves very well without the ball. They have different qualities but are the same important player for the team. It would be more difficult to play him in front of the defence because we want to use him in an offensive position."Carlo plans to play a 4-4-2 diamond formation and keep it that way all season long. He explained:
"This is the system we want to keep all season. It is a good system for all the players and it gives us the possibility to take control of the play. It works very well with an attacking midfielder between midfield and defence. It also worked very well for the right-back and left-back, they pushed forward a lot."
Didier gets life!
Wednesday, July 22, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea's Didier Drogba says he wants to stay at Stamfor Bridge for life. After beating Inter Milan 2-0, in which he scored, he told reporters that he wants to see out his playing career at Chelsea and he's waiting to sign on the dotted line for a new three year contract within days. Drogba says that he is very happy at Chelsea.Drogba is a very good player, very intelligent, but I just wish he would stop acting like the ref's doing him wrong.
But still, a good player. Good on Chelsea to keep him.
Beckham back to the Prem?
Monday, July 20, 2009 ~ Jay C.

David Beckham might be a target for Tottenham and Chelsea, and he should be delighted with the news (as it means more money and media hype for him), but also it may book him a place to South Africa in England's World Cup squad. The whiner returned to his first match for the Galaxy after finishing a loan spell at AC Milan to boos from sections of the crowd, who are finally realizing that his move from Real Madrid wasn't about the football at all, but for money and fame.
Tottenham and Chelsea are prepared to bring him to London, although Beckham wants to return to Italy (Leonardo...don't you dare!...i know where you live!). I hope he goes to Chelsea, just so they can pay him a huge amount and get half the player he was at Man UTD.
And Harry Redknapp.......what are you thinking? Beckham is a show-off and all he wants to do is USE a top EUROPEAN team to bolster his push for a World Cup place for England.
To ALL European teams, whether in top flight or bottom of the league, DO NOT sign David Beckham!!! Let him rot at LA and suffer the consequence of signing for the colour of green, and not for the football. He could have gone back to England instead of to the MLS, but now he has realized that if he stays with the Galaxy, he might not play for England again.
Beckham said 'Never say never. I'd definitely consider it. When I left, my heart was in Manchester - I couldn't see myself playing against United. Now I wouldn't rule it out.'
I believe Beckham is an ABBA fan, his favourite song is "Money Money Money"
Wouldn't you agree?
I'm telling the teacher!......
Saturday, July 18, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea are furious with Mark Hughes and Manchester City for 'tapping up' John Terry. Now wait a minute, i remember the big stink in the papers around 2 or 3 years ago when Ashley Cole was watched by Chelsea. Now at the time Chelsea hadn't put in an official bid for him, instead they met Ashley in a restaurant secretly behind Wenger's and Arsenal's back, but yet when it's one of their stars being 'tapped up' they don't like it.But how can they that JT is being tapped up when City have put in an official bid of 30 million pounds for Chelsea to sell the England star.
So unless i'm missing something here, please tell me how that is classed as 'tapping up'? Or are Chelsea so scared of JT leaving that this is their best option, to run to the Prem bosses hoping for them to tell Hughes to stop it, knowing that for once a team in the Premier League has more money than they do, and can pay a lot more than they can. Like i said before, money talks.
Pirlo going nowhere insists Galliani
Friday, July 17, 2009 ~ Jay C.
AC Milan have basically told Chelsea to shove their offer for Pirlo up their arses. Former AC Milan boss, and now Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti wants Pirlo to join him to Stamford Bridge. But AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has had enough of the transfer rumour. Galliani has stated that Pirlo is destined to stay a Milan player despite all the rumours and hype, and have never entered negotiations with Chelsea for the 3o year Rossoneri star.Pirlo has another three years left on his current contract with Milan until 2012, but we all know how that goes.
If he goes, i don't think Milan will miss him too much, as i think Milan's midfield is too congested anyway. I would rather see Ambrosini go than Pirlo, so Milan could play Gattuso as a defensive midfield, sitting behind the two central midfielders(Seedorf and Pirlo).
That's how i would play them, how would you organize an aging team?
JT and Becks BFF
Friday, July 17, 2009 ~ Jay C.

David Beckham has told fellow England team mate John Terry to be aware of leaving Chelsea to join Man City. And of course, who else to give JT advice than sir cry-a-lot, after all, he left Man UTD after 10 years, the club who made him famous, to go to Real Madrid. He says that it shouldn't be about money, but happiness.Becks said: "Happiness is the biggest thing. If you've got passion to play for the club you're at - and you're at the club you always wanted to be at - that goes beyond any money.
"JT's like that. He's passionate about football, not passionate about money. He'll decide what's best for his career. It won't be about money for him."
"He's England captain and you don't become England captain by being greedy. You get the job because you're passionate about the game."
Terry took over the captain's armband from Beckham for England in 2006, which makes me think how the hell he Becks got the armband in the first place. Beckham recalled the so called 'pain' of leaving Old Trafford was so great that he couldn't watch his old club on the t.v (give me a break!)
Beckham, 34, revealed "I always wanted to stay at United for my whole career but there was nothing I could have done about it. It wasn't in my hands when I left United.
"I missed it. I couldn't even bear to watch them on the TV for the first three years after leaving just because it hurt me a lot."
The overpaid LA Galaxy star intends to finish the current MLS season, then hop on over to Europe to play (if there is a god, Leonardo will see through his fake ass) so he can boost his chances of making England's World Cup squad, and he firmly believes he will holding hands with JT on the plane as they take off to South Africa next summer.
Becks added: "Football's a funny old game. Things can change quickly. But I don't think JT will move because he's Chelsea through and through.
"We'll have to wait and see. But I think he'll stay at Chelsea as they won't want to lose him."
UEFA's full of shit
Thursday, July 16, 2009 ~ Jay C.

Chelsea cheat Didier Drogba has had his four game European ban cut down to three thanks to an appeal. Drogba had a boo hoo session to the referee after the semi final game against Barcelona, in which Chelsea lost. Would he have done the same thing if Chelsea had won?.......No. He even appeared to have swore at the TV cameras (great role model for the kids). But of course, even though he's caught on camera swearing and shouting at officials, UEFA took the easy way out and basically made a point to Drogba and the rest of Europe that it's ok to swear and push and shout at officals, make a spectacle of yourself on global tv. It's ok. You get paid all this money to do this sort of shit. Thank you Mr. Platini and Co. for allowing this crap to happen. And what the fuck is a three match ban going to do? Please. For football's sake cut this shit out! Here's the baby shouting at the officials. Somebody smack him!
Who said i was leaving?....
Thursday, July 16, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea have looked to have won the battle in keeping John Terry, as he proudly displayed the new Chelsea kit at a press conference along with manager Carlo Ancelotti and team mate Michael Ballack. Although the £30million offer from Manchester City is still lingering in the air, Terry looked happy to wear the kit.Chelsea are on a US tour which starts today and everyone is waiting to see if Terry gets off that plane in America.
Big John still refuses to comment on his future but team mate Ballack is convinced he'll stay.
Ballack said: "I spoke with him. I don't want to talk too much about our conversation but I have the feeling he will play for Chelsea next year. I think he will stay."I think it's all about the green actually. He's proudly wearing the Blues' kit, but still wants to talk to Mark Hughes? C'mon, maybe he has the same thinking as i do.....that Chelsea won't have won a thing come the end of next season, so it's time to get paid more for being 'the star' of the team somewhere else.
Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon repeated the club's stance, saying: "John Terry is not for sale - at any price.
"I don't want know what they are offering. But I'm confident John is going to remain with us.
"John is a talisman. He's the heart of Chelsea. He came through our academy, he's our captain, he's also become captain of England.
"And we're confident John will be remaining as captain of Chelsea."
When is this sort of shit going to end?
Southend loan Chelsea midfielder Lee Sawyer
Tuesday, July 14, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea youngster Lee Sawyer has signed a six month loan deal with Southend. The 19 year old spent three months on loan at Southend last season scoring three goals in thirteen games. The deal is to be finalized this week and will see the youngster at Southend until January next year.Sawyer will join Southend for their pre-season programme
Southend United have agreed to sign Chelsea midfielder Lee Sawyer on a six-month loan deal.
Sawyer, 19, spent the first three months of last season at Roots Hall, scoring three goals in 13 appearances.
The move is expected to be finalized later this week and will see Sawyer stay with the Blues until January 2010.
I know i'm old fashioned but why does the kid have to go on loan to a lower division club. Why can't you just sit all your stars down, tell them that the future of Chelsea is your main priority, not their egos, and tell them that throughout the season you would like to give your youngster a chance to shine.
Every LEAGUE game take 1 or 2 stars out and put in a couple of youngsters who you think deserve the chance to play with the big boys and show the fans what they have to offer. It's simple, Sir Alex does it.
I understand there's too much pressure to win these days, but you have to start somewhere, Grass Roots would be the best place.
Ibrahimovic may be going to London.
Monday, July 13, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic may be on his way to Chelsea if Chelsea's former 'Special One' agrees to it. Chelsea are offering £50m cash, Deco and Carvalho to secure this transaction. And Ibrohimovic isn't shy on moving to London either.
He said: "I am fully aware that Chelsea want to sign me and, of course, it is very flattering. They are one of the biggest teams in Europe and the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world."
The Swedish international will talk to Inter top dog Massimo Moratti and manager Jose Mourinho to discuss his future with the Serie A champs. If he signs for Chelsea, his wages will overshadow the current Chelsea top earners Terry and Lampard.
But Ibrahimovic has been quick to claim that the proposed move is not about money.
He insisted: "Money is not the most important thing. I will base my decision on what's good for me, what suits me.
"It is about asking: will I still be able to be special in the league that I am going to, the team I am going to? Are my qualities right for the Premier League or not?"
So Chelsea are going to offload 2 players for one. It doesn't matter how many players they offload, or bring in, Chelsea have too many stars, who stick their chests out while walking around the training ground and repeatedly saying to themselves "I'm the best Chelsea has because i cost this much"
STOP IT!!!!!!!!
And i'm sorry Zlatan, if you think that Chelsea are one of the biggest team in Europe, then i have to ask you.....Where were you back in the mid 90's when Chelsea were only getting to mid table positions?
When i think of the biggest teams in Europe, i think of teams who have been at the top of their respective leagues for more than 10-20 years, and who have EARNED the name 'Champions', not a team who bought everyone in sight and won the Premier League for 2 years and can't seem to do it again.
Should i stay or should i go?
Monday, July 13, 2009 ~ Jay C.
John Terry has asked Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to talk to Mark Hughes and Manchester City about a possible transfer, but up to now Chelsea have said no to the possible £50m move. If it does happen, Terry will have a signing on bonus of £5m signing-on fee and wages of £280,000 a week.Chelsea have been quiet so far in the transfer market, only buying three players, which hasn't bent Abramovich's cheque book out of shape yet.
It will be a loss for Chelsea if Terry goes, but also i think Terry won't be seeing the Champions League again if he does sign for City.
City are a good team, but they seem to be lacking something and i think bringing somone in who costs all this amount of money won't do their morale any good.
Terry: I Want Respect!
Sunday, July 12, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea captain is demanding talks with owner Abramovich over his future. Terry is outraged that no-one gas talked to him about his future since Manchester City bid £30million last week.Terry has played 272 games for Chelsea and scored 17 goals in 11 senior years at the club.
Even though Terry is widely regarded as a key player, he takes home £20,000 a week less than his England team-mate Frank Lampard, who is on £151,000 a week.
He joined Chelsea aged just 14 and led the club to its first league title for 50 years in his first year as captain in 2004-5.
OK, Terry is earning 4 times my salary and he's complaining about not knowing if Chelsea still want him. I'm sorry, but maybe it's my messed up way of thinking here but if i was John Terry, i'd be f***ing thankful that no-one has spoken to me yet to tell me "you know what John, i don't think i'm gonna need you next season", that's if Mr. Terry loves The Blues as much as he claims, is he another greedy f***er like most of the Premier League players today who love the money and fame and not the club.
Tell us soon John, but think hard,......think hard.
Carvalho to jump ship.
Sunday, July 12, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Portugal centre-back Ricardo Carvalho has reiterated his desire to leave Chelsea in an interview published in Tuesday's Corriere dello Sport. So what's in the water at Chelsea?, Or is it just that players are scared of Ancelotti so rather than feel the wrath of the new Chelsea manager, they'd just jump ship rather than being made to walk the plank.
Terry is thinking of moving....not for the reasons he says, but for the usual shit most players move for, and Carvalho wants to move to start a new chapter in his career.
No, he wants to move because he knows the ship at Chelsea is sailing smooth anymore. Chelsea won't win the title again, so lets jump because i'm getting on in years and no trophies are on the horizon.
Is he just throwing the names Mourinho and Inter out there to see if "The Special One" (yeah, he was special alright) reacts to it. I'm sorry Chelsea fans...let's get this straight.....Mourinho didn't make Chelsea, Abramovich made Chelsea, so i just wish that you will stop calling Mourinho "The Special One", because it sounds like you're talking about the kid at the back of the bus who no-one wants to talk to. And besides, Hoddle and Gullit started to revamp Chelsea back in the 90's, long before Abramovich AND Mourinho were even thinking about Chelsea.
What the f**k.....money talks and bullshit plays football.
Terry is a Blue forever!
Tuesday, July 07, 2009 ~ Jay C.
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that John Terry isn't for sale at any price. The Chelsea captain has told Ancelotti that he'll stay a Blue forever, even though Manchester City are throwing out offers every other day.
The Italian said: "John Terry is a symbol of this team.
"He will be captain next season. He said he wants to stay forever and we want to keep him forever.
"Now there is a question of Man City but for Terry there is no price.
"Terry will be at Chelsea forever. He said he wants to stay, there is no problem for him for us, the story continues - Chelsea and Terry.
"I like to have a captain like Terry, he is very close to Paulo Maldini for professionalism, for quality and he will be the best captain for Chelsea.
"I spoke with Terry a month ago when I came to the club and he said welcome. And after he went on holiday.
"I will speak with him because he is the captain and I want a good relationship with the captain."
All we need now is for Sir Alex to put a bid in, do you think he'll stay Blue then?..........i don't. But maybe i'm wrong, maybe Terry would be the one that would shock me.
